Fees

Initial consultations (50 minutes) – $350.00

Follow-up visits (25 minutes) – $175.00

Dr. Verlage accepts cash, check, and credit card through the patient portal, which can be submitted prior to your appointment. 

Once you have been established as a patient, we can discuss the possibility and frequency of virtual appointments if that is something you are interested in.

Insurance

As you will find with most private psychiatrists, Dr. Verlage does not currently accept any insurance and would be considered an “out-of-network provider” for most insurance companies. This allows appointments to last longer and not be dictated by insurance requirements.

You can still submit claims for reimbursement, and Dr. Verlage will provide you with the needed documentation of services provided. Please note that Medicare beneficiaries are not permitted to submit claims for out-of-network providers.
